Pokemon Fan Crochets Adorable Jigglypuff Figure

For many gamers, simply enjoying everything a game has to offer is enough to satisfy. But when players become big fans, they often seek to create fan work celebrating their new favorite.

Pokemon players in particular seem to have tapped a never-ending well of creativity. Pokemon fanart has been around ever since the original games released, but as the years have gone on, many have stretched their creativity beyond pen and paper, and have started to look to three-dimensional endeavors, recreating the pocket monsters fans know and love.

One such example has been recently shared on the Pokemon subreddit. User JonYehWest uploaded an image of a piece of Jigglypuff fanart, the Pokemon most notorious for its slumber-inducing song. The Jigglypuff was crocheted out of yarn, recreating its three-dimensional round shape. Little black beads dot where its eyes are, and a happy little smile sits beneath that. Jigglypuff even has the black patches on her ears, and the soft yarn gives her a slightly fuzzy look, similar to Jigglypuff's appearance in Detective Pikachu.

No detail is left out here, as Jigglypuff even carries her iconic microphone in one hand. This design is likely based off of the anime version of Jigglypuff, who made frequent appearances in episodes. Generally, the Pokemon would appear during some important moment, sing, and then get angry when everyone fell asleep. Nearly all Jigglypuff are known for their song, though.

Fans seem to be receptive to the Jiggypuff crochet, commenting on how charming it looks. One user joked that it looked like it was secretly a Ditto, likely referring to how Ditto's imperfect recreations usually give it beady eyes whenever it transforms into
