IShowSpeed is a Twitch and YouTube content creator with over 7 million subscribers on YouTube and over 42,000 followers on Twitch. He's known for playing various games on streams such as VR Chat, Fortnite, NBA, and others. Valorant is a free-to-play first-person hero shooter developed and published by Riot Games. Players are put on teams where one side is attacking and the other defending, somewhat similar to Team Fortress 2 in basic concept.

IShowSpeed has been permanently banned from playing Valorant by Riot Games after a clip resurfaced from a stream showing him berating a female teammate during a furious outburst. In the clip, IShowSpeed gets angry after he is killed during a game resulting in an outburst where he becomes very defensive about how he played, getting even angrier when female voice chimes in. He calls her a derogatory name and tells her to go to the kitchen and do dishes instead of being on the team playing the game. In response to the clip on Twitter, Sara Dadafshar, a producer on Valorant confirmed the permaban.
IShowSpeed is no stranger to bans or making disgusting sexist comments. Last year he was banned from Twitch after making sexist comments during a dating show stream, but that ban has since been lifted.
