The Nvidia leak from last year mentioned that a Final Fantasy 9 remake is in development, and in light of recent events, it looks like that leak will end up being true.

The Nvidia leak contained names of some unannounced Square Enix games, including a remaster of Chrono Cross and Kingdom Hearts 4. Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition released just a few days ago, and yesterday, Square Enix revealedKingdom Hearts 4 along with a gameplay trailer. It primarily focused on teasing the plot while also showing Sora fighting a massive Heartless in Quadratum. The exciting trailer featured a small gameplay sequence that showed off some of Sora’s moves, including a grappling hook and a drill-like attack.
