Shift Up’s Stellar Blade isn’t out for another two months, but retail copies are apparently already stocked in Japan. Genki on Twitter got their hands on one and revealed the back specifying “more than 35 GB” of free space for installation.
While this could be a placeholder, it could receive a massive day-one patch, increasing the game’s size further. We’ll have to wait for more details, but in terms of playtime, studio CEO and game director Kim Hyeong-tae revealed that it’s25 hours for the main story. If you want 100 percent completion (which includes 30 outfits and accessories), it could take about 30 to 50 hours to collect everything.
Stellar Blade launches on April 26th, exclusively for PS5, at $70. It’s rated “Mature 17+” by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board and features three modes – Resolution (4K), Performance (60 FPS) and Balanced (a mix of the two). Multiple difficulty options and support features are also in place for less challenging combat. Head here to check out the latest gameplay from State of Play.
Here is the back of the box. It says it requires “more than 35GB” free storage capacity. It’s still early so it might not be final. Not sure. I was imagining the game will be around 50-60GB but we will have to wait and see! pic.twitter.com/bdkBRD3Eb7
