Of course, this isn't the first time SteamVR games are available to Meta Quest users. There have been ways to accomplish the same feat for years, starting with the Oculus Air Link. However, that software hasn't been updated in a long time since Meta switched entirely to wireless headsets, so this Steam Link app definitely makes it easier and more seamless to play SteamVR titles on Quest devices.
Meta released the Quest 3 mixed reality headset on October 10, priced at $499, albeit with Asgard's Wrath 2 (read Kai's impressions of that game here) bundled. At some point this month, Quest users should also receive the previously announced support for Xbox Cloud Gaming. Provided they've got a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, they'll be able to stream Xbox games on their headsets.
