Having played 100s of hours of Stardew Valley, I can say with certainty that the soundtrack is absolutely killer. Not only does it feature a combination of genuinely moving and upbeat tracks: but my wife and I also can’t help but hum to the vast majority of the score. That’s going to be a lot more exciting to do in person of course, when the Stardew Valley concert tour kicks off next year.
Announced by Stardew creator Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone themselves, the tour will begin on February 17, 2024 in Los Angeles, California, and end mid-to-late 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. The tour itself is called “Festival of Seasons,” and will feature a chamber orchestra. ConcernedApe is heavily involved in the production, as the song choices have been “curated” by them, and will feature all four seasons of the valley.
As you can see, the tour will be moving from the west coast to the east coast, then scattered around the US before moving to Canada. Tickets will be on sale on Friday, October 13, at 10AM “local time” of each city for the US, Canada, and the UK. For Melbourne, tickets will go up on that same date at 11AM local time, and Sydney tickets are for sale a little later on Friday October 20 at 11AM local time.
Tickets can be purchased here from the concert tour’s official site. If I can make it, I can’t wait to jam out to Spring (Wild Horseradish Jam) in person. Future runs are potentially on the table too, according to ConcernedApe: “it’s possible, but would likely be part of a different, future tour. This is the first run and still kind of testing
