A new Star Wars Jedi: Survivor character mod that is now available for download turns Cal Kestis into one of the most iconic characters introduced in the series' universe by the excellent Knights of the Old Republic.
The new mod, which can be downloaded from Nexus Mod, introduces a fully playable Darth Revan to the new entry in the series by Respawn. The amazing recreation of the character's outfit is only made better by the excellent implementation of fake cloth physics, as regular physics are not currently possible to mod in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. As such, they will look bad at low framerates.
Plenty of mods have been developed for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor since its launch last month to address some of the game's issues and introduce new features, such as NVIDIA DLSS, which helps performance and visuals quite a bit on RTX GPUs. Respawn is also working hard on the game, having released multiple patches to address some of the game's biggest issues. Despite these, however, the game is still not in an optimal state, which is a shame, considering how much of an improvement it is over its predecessor, as highlighted by Kai in his review.
While Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was a surprise journey when it was first released, the time spent apart hasn’t made Cal Kestis’ adventures any less enjoyable. A similar framework in unfamiliar territories helps to establish Jedi: Survivor as a quality sequel to the original release. Jedi: Survivor still plays it safe in comparison to the prior game.
