Recognizing the danger they pose to the galxy after several attacks on the innocent along with multiple Jedi deaths, Avar is more determined than ever to end the Nihil. She's particularly focused on one of their key leaders as well, the Tempest Runner known as Lourna Dee. However, her obsession with the Nihil has motivated Krris to defy the will of the Jedi Council, leading the knights under her command into what has essentially become a revenge quest.
