It’s always interesting to see how a company engages with its fans, even if the best advice would not be to look too deep into it. For example, the first release of Morbius turned into a bunch of memes, and it’s not exactly because the movie had that many meme-worthy scenes. It just took off thanks to internet randomness, and Sony decided to re-release Morbius in theaters are a result.
Meanwhile, there were a number of fans who didn’t believe the Last of Us remake rumors, simply because the game doesn’t necessarily need the facelift. All of this amounts to little, but it’s interesting to see all of this happening, and nothing happening with Bloodborne.

Although it was developed by FromSoftware, it’s worth mentioning that the rights to Bloodborne are owned by Sony. This means any decisions for it rest solely on Sony’s shoulders. And even though there are constant rumors about a Bloodborne PS5 upgrade, remaster, or reboot, as well as constant demands for a Bloodborne PC port, nothing has concretely manifested. Yet, despite Sony adventuring into the PC space and releasing Spider-Man for it this fall, there’s been no notable traction on Bloodborne.
Bloodborne still constantly trends online and is easily one of the most popular titles in FromSoftware’s catalog. Given Bloodborne is 7-years-old, this is saying something. It says a ton of people would pay for 60 FPS and other enhancements made toBloodborne, but as it stands, nothing about the rumors of it existing seem true. Some have suggested Bluepoint Games was working on this, which makes sense as it did Demon’s Souls
