Calling Shuhei Yoshida and all third-party developer outreach executives at PlayStation: you need to get on the phone to Secret Mode and Sumo Digital and get DeathSprint 66 on PS5. Like, right now.
This game has been going viral lately because the gameplay looks freakin’ awesome: it’s due out on 12th September for PC, and sees you controlling a futuristic parkour athlete in a race to the death. It’s got a futuristic aesthetic, and it blends the best of arcade racers with online party games, like Fall Guys.

Obviously the gameplay was different because that was a first-person virtual reality experience, but we’ve always been obsessed with the idea of a sprinting game that goes beyond the old International Track & Field-style button mashing gameplay.
We’ll contact Secret Mode and see if it has any plans for a PlayStation port in the future. In the meantime, check out the release date trailer above which should give you a taste of what to expect from the title.
