The Solar Opposites season 3 release date is revealed with the animated sci-fi comedy set to return to Hulu after over a year hiatus. The series hails from Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland, who also leads the cast, and Mike McMahan, an alum of the hit Adult Swim series and creator of Paramount+'s Star Trek: Lower Decks. Alongside Roiland, the cast for Solar Opposites includes Thomas Middleditch, Sean Giambrone, Mary Mack, Sagan McMahan, Andy Daly, Christina Hendricks, Alfred Molina, Sterling K. Brown, Rainn Wilson, Phil LaMarr and Jimmi Simpson.
Solar Opposites revolves around a group of aliens who crash landed on Earth after their planet was destroyed by an asteroid and struggle to adjust to life in an undisclosed middle American town, who also struggle to adjust to the sci-fi antics of the group. The show also follows a group of people shrunk down by one of the younger alien replicants Yumyulack and kept in a terrarium structure known as The Wall, with many building a revolution against its ruthless ruler The Duke. Solar Opposites has received critical acclaim in its first two seasons for Roiland and McMahan's unique sense of humor, self-aware storytelling and strong writing.
