Final Fantasy 14 is now firmly within its post-Endwalker content cycle. Recently, within a letter addressing recent adjustments to PvP actions, Final Fantasy 14 director and producer Naoki Yoshida casually dropped the release date for Patch 6.15.
According to Yoshida, the mid-patch update will be arriving on June 7th. The patch will bring about further balance adjustments to PvP as well as new weekly content and side quests. While it is technically possible Final Fantasy 14 will hold a Live Letter from the Producer about this patch, the lack of an announcement for one suggests the next Live Letter will likely pertain to 6.2 instead.
Final Fantasy Creator is Taking On Final Fantasy 14's Hardest Raid
Though Final Fantasy 14 players do not yet know precisely what is coming in Patch 6.15, they do have a rough outline thanks to previous announcements. The patch is adding its first Endwalker Tribal Quests with the elephant-like Arkasodara, as well as Custom Deliveries for the charming Ameliance Leveilleur, mother of Alphinaud and Alisaie. Players can also finally catch up with Hildibrand Manderville in the first new side quest since Stormblood. Players can expect the full patch notes soon, likely by the weekend before the 7th.
At two months after 6.1, this patch marks the halfway mark between major patches. Following its four-month development schedule, players can likely expect Patch 6.2 sometime in early August. Before then, the Final Fantasy 14 Data Center Travel system should finally be live, and players can also expect the Tataru’s Grand Adventure and Omega: Beyond the Rift side quests to begin. In 6.2 itself,Final Fantasy 14 players will get the next leg of the Pandaemonium raid, Island Sanctuaries, and more.
