Gran Turismo 7 is discounted to $46 for PS5 and $40 for PS4 at Amazon. These deals are being offered as part of PlayStation's Back to School sale, an enticing limited-time promotion that includes the PS5 for $450 and DualSense controllers for $49 each.
The racing sim earned an 8/10 in GameSpot's Gran Turismo 7 review. «Gran Turismo 7 isn't a departure, but rather a newer, shinier GT game,» critic Alex Goy wrote. «Its physics model is accurate, and while the racing can be formulaic it's always a giggle. The attempt at humanity is a bit cringe, the lack of up-to-date cars seems like an open goal missed, and the game may not have changed drastically, but that's not the worst thing in the world. There are medals to claim, cars to collect, and people on the internet to embarrass around Goodwood, the 'Ring, or, well, anywhere really. PlayStation petrolheads are in for a good time.»
Though Gran Turismo 7 makes great use of the DualSense controller's haptic feedback, racing enthusiasts may want to consider buying a dedicated wheel. There are some nice deals on PlayStation racing wheels at Amazon right now. Most notably, you can get the Logitech G29 wheel, floor pedals, G Driving Force Shifter for $280, down from $360. Alternatively, you can get the higher-end Logitech G923 for $50 off. If you want a more budget-friendly option, check out the Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari 488 GTB for $105.
