A new video of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim shows the Dragonborn's death at the hands of a Draugr Death Overlord. The death animation, however, refused to stop showing the character fall down the entire mountain.
When The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim was first released back in 2011, it blew away gamers and critics alike. From the depths of its character customization to the seemingly never-ending number of available quests, Skyrim was a piece of art that set the bar for open-world games for years to come. Unfortunately, like many of Bethesda's other games, it was full of glitches that ran the gambit of ridiculous and hilarious to game-breaking and infuriating. One of the bugs that bridges the gap between these two are the death animations and gamers continue to find new glitches involving the demise of the player character to this day. The Skyrim Reddit page is a place where such unusual glitches can be found.
Skyrim Multiplayer Mod Is Out Now
In a recent post on The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Reddit page a user known as DrunkStoleATank shared what is perhaps one of the longest death animations to be seen in a Bethesda game. Ascending a mountain the player confronts a Draugr Death Overlord who then hits the player with an Unrelenting Force shout killing them instantly. The death animation, however, just keeps on going as the player falls further and further down the mountain. As if to add insult to injury an ice spike is shot into the player's head, as if the Draugr was making sure that they were dead. In total the death animation seems to go on for roughly 20 seconds before the video ends.
