As a major recent PS5 console exclusive and one of the best-looking games on the platform, it’s no surprise that many PS5 Pro early adopters hoped to play the Silent Hill 2 remake to see what it looks and runs like on its more powerful hardware, though shortly after Bloober Team and Konami released the horror title’s PS5 Pro patch, it emerged that the game was plagued with a number of graphical glitches on the console.
Developer Bloober Team previously said it was looking into those issues, and a patch has now been released for that purpose. Patch 1.06’s patch notes say it has addressed the game’s PS5 Pro graphical glitches, which means players should ideally be in for a better experience now on Sony’s new console. It’s worth mentioning, however, that players on social media are still reporting visual and technical hiccups, so there’s a good chance that Bloober Team and Konami end up releasing more patches with further fixes.
Beyond that, the update also brings several other gameplay-related bug fixes, while a number of issues have also been addressed in the game’s Steam version. You can view the full patch notes below.
