Siesta Key: Kelsey Reveals She Won't Appear In Season 5 Until Later On
Kelsey Owens has revealed that she will be absent from the beginning of Siesta Key season 5 and will appear later into the season. The popular reality series concluded its fourth season in May, and the season was split into two parts, both of which were centered on main star Juliette Porter's relationship with Sam Logan and the rise of her bathing suit company JMP The Label. By season 4b, Juliette and Sam were no longer together, but the show was no less interesting as fans tuned in each week to watch the aftermath of their breakup. The season ended on a heavier note as Madisson Hausberg got her friends together on the beach and told them about her stillbirth.
As Siesta Key season 4b was airing, the cast started dropping hints on social media that the show might be moving to Miami for season 5. Soon after that, the cast members all started relocating to the new city. Further proof came when a fan saw stars Cara Geswelli and Meghan Bischoff filming a scene at a restaurant in Miami. Towards the end of the recent season, it became clear the cast members' lives are headed in a different direction than when they first started the show, and fans suspected Siesta Key could be following in the footsteps of Laguna Beach and launching a spinoff like The Hills.

Apparently, Siesta Key has even more changes in store as Kelsey confessed she will not appear at the beginning of the season. Despite being a main cast member on the show since season 1, Kelsey revealed on her Instagram story that she will have a smaller role in the upcoming season.
