Screen Rant has an exclusive look at Scott Snyder and Tula Lotay's upcoming Comixology Original series, Barnstormers, in the form of a motion trailer full of romance, intrigue, and decade-appropriate music.
Part of Comixology's Original line of exclusive content, Snyder and Lotay's Barnstormers is set in 1923, just after the historical event that was the First World War. For a man who goes by the name Preston Pike, this is the barnstorming era, a time when pilots could eke out a living by taking average joes up in the air for a nominal fee. Pike runs from his past by flying planes across the countryside and discovers the score of a lifetime may be waiting for him in a little place called Barnville. The only opportunity Pike picks up is a runaway bride name Claire, which starts a classic Bonnie and Clyde-style partnership.

Before fans get a chance to see Claire and Preston's adventures for themselves, Screen Rant has an exclusive Youtube trailer that is sure to get readers hyped for the sky-high romp. The promo kicks off with some swinging ragtime music and a crowd excitedly watching a plane soar through the air. As the trailer sets up the upcoming Comixology Original comic, fans are introduced to its central characters, Claire and Preston. It's clear that Claire is wise to the money-making venture Pike has come to the town with, and informs him that it's not going to work.
