Shadow Warrior 3 sees former ninja Lo Wang going up against an army of yokai as he tries to take down a massive dragon. As you can expect from a description like that, you're going to be facing a ton of different enemies and challenges in your adventure.

Along the way, you'll get the chance to upgrade your weapons and skills, both of which have their own currency - character orbs and weapons orbs, which can be found throughout the game. These are almost all in incredibly obvious locations and can be found on the main path of each level. A few extra can also be found in hidden areas, but even these are pretty clear.
You'll need to make sure you're completing challenges whenever you can to get extra orbs, as the ones you find throughout the game won't quite be enough on their own. We're going to be focusing on which character upgrades to go for here, and if you want to get them all you're going to need 28 character skill orbs altogether.
This means you're going to need to be choosing the right upgrades whenever you can because there's a good chance that you won't be able to get them all in your first playthrough.
Let's start off with an obvious one - having more health is a good thing. Although Shadow Warrior 3 isn't the hardest game in the world or anything, this string of upgrades is key to making encounters easy for yourself. The first upgrade, Last Stand Shockwave, isn't too helpful, but the second will boost your health to 125, which is a big benefit. The final upgrade is the most important, as it'll let Wang's health recharge over time, meaning that running and hiding is finally a viable option. You'll want to upgrade this branch first, no competition.
