Sennheiser just launched its flagship headphone in India under the Momentum lineup of headphones and it has a couple of features to beat the Apple AirPods Max. Called the Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 4, the headphone makes some big claims with regards to its crucial features, one of which is its battery life. The Momentum 4 is a successor to the Momentum Wireless 3 headphones launched back in 2019 and brings in new features for a rather accessible price.
The Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 4 will be selling in India at a price of Rs. 34,990 and will be available via the company's online store as well as Amazon India. At this price, the Momentum Wireless 4 will go up against the upcoming Sony WH-1000XM5 flagship headphones as well as the long running Apple AirPods Max.
Sennheiser says the Momentum Wireless 4 uses a new 42mm transducer that offers a more dynamic audio setup. This along with the new adaptive Active Noise Cancellation system premises an over better experience than the previous generation model. The transparency mode lets you hear your ambience sound without taking it off.
Then there's the design, which Sennheiser says is lighter and more comfortable than before. It has deeply padded earcups and the hinge mechanism adopts a new low friction system along with a fold flat design.
For connectivity, the Momentum 4 gets Bluetooth 5.2. Smart Pause halts playback when the headphones are taken off and resumes when placed back on the ears, so users never miss the music. The Auto On/Off rapidly powers up the headset when it's picked up and shuts down to save energy when not in use.The headphone boasts of battery stamina of up to 60 hours, which outclasses other headphones in its price segment.
