Secret Invasion is one of the many upcoming TV shows from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but its place in this universe’s main timeline has raised a hugeAvengers: Infinity War question. The MCU continues its expansion with its highly-anticipated Phase 4, which unlike the previous ones is covering both movies and TV shows, with the latter connecting to the former and complementing the stories seen on the big screen. The MCU already has a long list of upcoming TV shows to be streamed exclusively on Disney+, and among those is Secret Invasion.
Secret Invasion will be based on the famous Marvel Comics storyline of the same name, and it will reunite the audience with some heroes and allies from the MCU movies. Secret Invasion will explore the Skrulls’ story and time on Earth a bit further after their debut in Captain Marvel, and for that, it will bring Thalos (Ben Mendelsohn), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman), Rhodey (Don Cheadle), and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) back. However, unlike the rest of the MCU TV shows so far, Secret Invasion will be set during the Blip, and it's this what makes way for a big question related to Avengers: Infinity War.
