Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series has just been launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung introduced three different tablets - Galaxy S8, Galaxy Tab S8+ and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra - in its live event today. The tablets are priced at $699, $899 and $1099 respectively. At the beginning of the event, Samsung announced that it has used green plastics for all its products released today in line with the company’s commitment to sustainable development. The Galaxy S8 lineup includes many new features and upgrades over the previous iteration. However, do remember that some of these specifications can change for the Indian market. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is the base level tablet in the S8 series. It features an 11-inch LTPS display with 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has a 4 nanometer 64-bit Octa-core processor, Samsung’s fastest yet. Samsung’s base level S8 tablet comes with an 8,000 mAh battery which supports up to 45W fast charge support.
On connectivity, Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 will support 5G, LTE, WiFi 6E and Bluetooth v5.2. The tablet sports a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary lens and a 6MP ultra wide lens. On the front, it has a 12MP ultra wide camera. The tablet will be available in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants as well as 128GB and 256GB storage variants.
Additionally, it has quad stereo speakers powered by Dolby Atmos and 3 microphones. It is capable of recording videos in 4K and 8K.
