Walton Goggins Will Play The Lead In Amazon's Fallout TV Series
There's not much we know about Amazon's Fallout TV series, and the only information we do have pertains to behind-the-scenes matters. Last week we learned that Captain Marvel writer Geneva Robertson-Dworet, and The Office producer Graham Wagner will act as co-showrunners for the series. Additionally, Westworld creator and The Dark Knight writer Jonathan Nolan will be directing the first episode.
In our first bit of on-screen information, Walton Goggins has been cast in the lead role of the series. Not much else has been revealed about his character, but according to Deadline, Goggins is set to play a Ghoul. It's unclear whether this Ghoul will be one we've seen in the games or a completely new character. It would be interesting to see a show based on the early life of John Hancock though.

Goggins' most recent project is The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey – a drama miniseries based on the novel by Walter Mosley, set to release in March of this year. However, you'll recognise him from his roles in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and the Tomb Raider reboot. He also played the role of Aaron Ingram in 2017's Prey.
The Fallout TV series is just one among the numerous video game inspired shows in the works. The project is being undertaken by Amazon Studios and Kilter Films in an association with Bethesda Game Studios, and Bethesda Softworks. Since it's still only at the casting stages, don't expect the show to launch any time soon.
