Samsung is going to be unveiling the Galaxy S24 series in early 2024, and so far, we have received substantial information about all the changes that Samsung is making, including a titanium frame for the ultra variant and flatter sides for the base and plus variants. Today, we have our first look at the batteries for all three devices. These are real-life pictures showing us the model number and manufacturer of these batteries for Samsung's upcoming flagship devices.
All three batteries have received certification from Safety Korea, a South Korean safety certification agency, and the pictures now with us show the batteries. The Galaxy S24 battery is modeled EB-BS922ABY, the Plus variant's battery is labeled EB-BS926ABY, and the Ultra variant's battery has the model number EB-BS928ABY. The S-92x would be the model number here. All these batteries are made by ATL (Amperex Technologies Limited), but don't be alarmed, as it is a pretty common occurrence in the market.
Although these pictures do not reveal the battery capacities of the Galaxy S24 series, previous rumors have suggested that the Plus variant will ship with a 4,800 mAh battery. In contrast, the Ultra variant will ship with a 5,000 mAh battery. The battery capacity of the base variant is still unknown, but we will be sure to keep you posted as soon as we get more information on what Samsung is cooking.
Considering how we now have our first look at the Galaxy S24 batteries, it is safe to say that Samsung has made some progress with the devices and in the coming months, we can expect more leaks surrounding the devices.
