Samsung Galaxy Book laptops are coming to India later this week but these won’t be limited affair highly priced Windows notebooks! In fact, based on a report, it is said that the Galaxy Book laptops could disrupt the laptop market in the same way Xiaomi did with its Mi Notebook laptops back in 2020. There are six new models launching at its March 17 launch event, with all of them being the latest models. Price details have also been hinted a bit.
The Galaxy Book 2 and Galaxy Book 2 360, which were announced at this year’s CES event, will be coming to India. Along with these, Samsung will also bring the Galaxy Book 2 Pro, Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, Galaxy Book 2 Business, and Galaxy Book Go. The information comes via a report from Gadgets360, in which a Samsung executive has confirmed the same.
While the exact prices are yet to be revealed, the Samsung executive has confirmed that the entire laptop range will start at a price of Rs. 40,000 in India. This could make it the most affordable range of Windows laptops we could be seeing in India. At launch, Samsung will also bring cash back offers and bundled gifts for customers who pre-book the new models.
The Galaxy Book Go will be the most affordable device in Samsung’s laptop lineup. The Galaxy Book Go is said to be aimed at students and those customers who want something lightweight on the go. This model will help Samsung take on the Realme and Xiaomi laptops in the sub-Rs. 50,000 space.
However, while Realme and Xiaomi offer Intel processors at this price range, it is Samsung offering a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 platform chip to power the laptop. Samsung claims up to 18 hours of battery life and offers a 180-degree hinge. India will only get the Wi-Fi variant while global
