Salt & Sacrifice, the sequel to Salt & Sanctuary, is coming to PS5 and PS4 on May 10.
The successor to the critically acclaimed 2016 Metroidvania will have an increased focus on player-versus-player combat, as well as other new features including sprinting and new situational abilities called Runic Arts.
The announcement came as part of a new PlayStation indie games showcase which also spotlighted six other titles.
Hello Neighbor 2, previously announced for Xbox and PC, will also be coming to PS4 and PS5. A beta will be launching on April 7, and players who pre-order the game will get access to it.
Some new screenshots for PlayStation VR title Moss: Book II were shared, with developer Polyarc revealing that the game will have much larger rooms to explore than its predecessor, to greater highlight the sense of scale.
Samurai Gunn 2 was also confirmed for PS5. The one-hit-kill platform fighter will include a number of guest characters from other indie titles including Among Us, Minit and Spelunky 2.
Post Void, the debut title from Super Rare Games’ new indie publishing label Super Rare Originals, will be coming to PS4 and PS5 in spring 2022. The game is a unique-looking psychedelic first-person shooter.
Developer Billy Basso also introduced his one-man project, Animal Well. “It has the sensibilities of the survival horror genre, but it’s not really a scary game,” he explained. “It has puzzles and platforms, but it’s not quite a puzzle platformer.”
Finally, Tribute Games confirmed that retro-inspired beat ’em up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will feature Master Splinter as a playable character.
