Road 96 isn't a game that made a ton of waves when it was originally released mid-2021. It did, however, receive a number of awards, nominations, and positive critical reviews. Suffice to say, Road 96 is a game worth playing, but it was limited by the reach of indie publishing and financial support for only PC and Switch versions at launch. In a message shared on Twitter, Digixart confirmed that it would be bringing Road 96 to PlayStation and Xbox platforms. The official release date for the console ports is April 14. While the message on social media doesn't explicitly state which platforms are confirmed to be supported, a trailer lists PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. That leaves Xbox One support somewhat ambiguous until Digixart is able to provide further clarification.
