Running of the Gnomes Charity Event on October 12th at 4pm PDT
Today only, the annual Running of the Gnomes is back, racing from Gnomeregan all the way to Booty Bay! The fun run begins at 4pm Pacific (7pm Eastern, 11pm GMT) on the US Scarlet Crusade server, so roll a new gnome, pick out your favorite pink hair, and join the community in supporting the Pink Fund, which provides financial assistance for breast cancer patients!

Every year, the community comes together to promote breast cancer awareness month by rolling pink haired gnomes and racing from their starting area in Gnomeregan, through the tram in Ironforge, all the way down to Booty Bay, followed by an after party in Orgrimmar. While the long-time event has since gained official recognition by Blizzard through the The Great Gnomeregan Run micro-holiday, which any player can participate in using their own character, the original Running of Gnomes community event continues on Scarlet Crusade-US specifically using pink haired gnomes to showcase support for breast cancer awareness.
This year, the two events overlap, so players can complete their October Trading Post objectives while running alongside all their friends!
Do note that the trading post objective requires a pink shirt.

How to participate
Simply log in on the specified day on Scarlet Crusade in the Gnome Starting Zone, before the run start time and join us for the run. We’ll have the invites, and you just need to bring yourself!
If you do not wish to use a fresh level 1 Gnome, you can simply change your Gnome's hair to Pink. Read more on wowhead.com
