RuneScape Tabletop RPG And Board Game Pre-Orders Go Live This Month
RuneScape has been a part of the video game zeitgeist for so long that whether you still play it today or not, odds are you have played it, and played it extensively, at some point in your life. It has naturally evolved over its more than two decades of existence, but now RuneScape is about to get two entirely new ways to play. A tabletop RPG and a board game, both based on the original game, and both falling under the RuneScape Kingdoms banner.
Created by Steamforged Games, both The Roleplaying Game and the board game, Shadow of Elvarg, will be available for pre-order later this month. The exact dates and how much the games are going to cost haven't yet been revealed. However, you can sign up to be notified of when exactly any of that information is revealed here through the Steamforged website.

The Roleplaying Game was announced all the way back in January 2022, so a long wait for those of you eager to get your hands on it. The RPG's core book will include everything you need to know to play through some authentic RuneScape campaigns. However, there is going to be a deluxe edition of the RPG for those of you who want your tabletop RuneScape experience to be as in-depth as possible. Taking place in the fictional world of Gielinor, the RPG pulls inspiration from RuneScape players will be very familiar with.
The wait for Shadow of Elvarg has been just as long. Starting life through a Kickstarter campaign in 2022, the board game is finally ready to go and will be available to pre-order along with the RPG later this month.
