In the wake of the success, developer Innersloth ported the game to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in December 2021 before announcing a virtual reality iteration developed in partnership with Schell Games.

Among Us VR was announced as part of the 2021 Game Awards, though no release date or window was set at that time. However, a new alleged leak shared on SteamDB says the current Steam release date is set for November 10, 2022. The site does point out, though, that this information could be wrong and neither Schell Games nor Innersloth has made any official announcement.
