Rosario Dawson, who plays Ahsoka in The Mandalorianand The Book of Boba Fett, hugs action legend Michael Biehn in a never before seen behind-the-scenes photo. Disney+'s live-action Star Wars shows have gone to admirable lengths adhering to continuity with The Mandalorian season 2 re-introducing previously animated characters from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Rebels, Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff), and Ahsoka Tano (Dawson).
Anakin Skywalker’s former Togruta Padawan, Ahsoka, made her live-action debut in The Mandalorian, “Chapter 13: The Jedi,” which was written and directed by Dave Filoni, who worked on The Clone Wars and created Rebels. The episode sees her wield her signature dual lightsabers against a cruel magistrate, Morgan Elsbeth (Diana Lee Inosanto), and her Captain of the Guard, Lang, who is played by Biehn (The Terminator, Aliens). After teaming up with Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), Ahsoka is able to defeat the magistrate and get some information regarding the location of Grand Admiral Thrawn (yet another Rebels tie-in).

Dawson’s Ahsoka was a highlight of The Mandalorian season 2, which has justified further appearances on Disney+, including her own title series. Biehn’s character, on the other hand, had an unfortunate stand-off with the eponymous Mando. Star Wars Holocron on Twitter recently shared a BTS photo of Dawson and Biehn on the set of The Mandalorian. Not only did Dawson see the post, but she shared her love for the actor.
