Among the big AAA game releases in January 2022, Nobody Saves the World has proven to be an indie gem that is worthy of attention. Since its launch on PC and Xbox, the game has earned praise from critics. However, developer DrinkBox Studios apparently doesn't want to stop there, as it's now readying the release of Nobody Saves the World on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
Nobody Saves the World is a sprawling action RPG played from a top-down perspective. In the game, players control a blank-state character named Nobody, who has a magic wand that allows him to transform into a total of 18 different forms, from a turtle and a bodybuilder, to a necromancer and a literal egg. The game also allows players to mix-and-match abilities of different forms in order to create powerful and clever combos.
Xbox Console Exclusive Could Be Jumping Ship to PlayStation
As DrinkBox has announced on Twitter, Nobody Saves the World is now set to come to PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch on April 14th. In the US, the game will sell for $24.99. For a limited time, Switch users can get a 10% discount if they opt for pre-ordering the game. Meanwhile, PlayStation users will get both versions of the game for a single price.
Alongside these new console releases, Nobody Saves the World will also receive an update on all platforms that adds local co-op to the experience. Originally, the game disappointingly only supported online co-op when it launched on PC and Xbox. This time around, DrinkBox is making sure that players can enjoy multiplayer from the comfort of their couch. The Switch version is even designed to be played in tabletop mode, with each player controlling a single Joy-con.
