Roman Reigns has been at the center of WWE programming for what feels like forever, and despite his recent comments, that isn't likely to shift in the near future. He's been the WWE Universal Champion for more than 600 days and became the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion when he pinned Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38. Storylines revolving around Reigns and his Bloodline stable—along with Jimmy and Jey Uso—have been the focal point of both Monday Night Raw and WWE SmackDown for a few months now, and the trio was featured in the main event of the recent WrestleMania Backlash premium live event.
As such, it caught a lot of folks off-guard when over the weekend a video surfaced of Reigns seeming to imply that his time with WWE could be coming to an end. While speaking to the crowd at a taping in Trenton, New Jersey, the Tribal Cheif told fans that he didn't know if or when he'd be back there again. «I'm starting to work into a new phase in my career,» he said according to video shot by YouTube user TRIPLEAFC, «and I honestly don't know if I'll ever be back here again.» After landing a role in the new Hobbs & Shaw film, it certainly seems like Reigns could be following the likes of The Rock and John Cena to Hollywood.

For the time being, however, it doesn't sound like WWE fans should be expecting to see less Reigns on their screens. Fightful has reported that they've reached out to multiple sources in the company, and they have indicated that he's not expected to leave "any time soon."
