Warning! Spoilers ahead for This Is Us.
Mandy Moore talks about the surprise reunion between Rebecca and Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) in This Is Us' penultimate episode. The NBC family drama is in its final chapter after running for six successful seasons. Given this, This Is Us has started to tie up narrative loose ends in an effort to deliver an emotionally satisfying ending for its avid viewers.
When This Is Us debuted in 2016, it was an immediate hit for NBC, scoring multiple season renewals. But while it remains popular for the network, show creator Dan Fogelman decided to wrap up the Pearsons' story after six years as he initially planned. The last few seasons of This Is Us have shifted the focus on Rebecca as she deals with Alzheimer's. This has left her kids to navigate the tricky situation, including how to take care of their mother after the death of her second husband, Miguel (Jon Huertas). In This Is Us' penultimate episode, however, the extended Pearson clan finally says goodbye to Rebecca.

The actress captioned the photo with William's (Ron Cephas) wistful quote about endings. Check out the adorable snap below:
