The Joker got a taste of his own medicine and it was delivered by none other than a Robin. While Jason Todd was the one beaten to death by the Clown Prince of Crime, Damian Wayne gave him the payback he'd had coming for a long time.
While Damian might be deadlier than Ra's Al Ghul after being trained by the League of Assassins, one of his predecessors had nowhere near the same experience when he served as Robin. Jason Todd was trained by Batman and while Bruce is one of the best martial artists in the DC Universe, it didn't prepare him for what the Joker had planned in the classic «Death of the Family» storyline. The clown committed his worst assault against the Bat-Family when he brutally beat the young hero to death and left him to die in a building filled with explosives.

While Jason's death served as a warning for Batman's future partners, Damian decided to take a more proactive approach in Batman and Robin #13 by Grant Morrison and Frazer Irving. After Joker spends months hiding under the identity of «Oberon Sexton», he has been apprehended and is being held at Gotham P.D. As Dick Grayson investigates the threads that seemingly connect everything back to the criminal organization the Black Glove, Damian stays behind at the police station. The Boy Wonder takes Joker up on his offer to speak alone, but Robin brings a crowbar with him to do the talking. It doesn't take long for the villain to realize what's about to happen before Robin begins to torture the Joker with the same tool the criminal once infamously used.
