The posts, which included language and cartoons focused on the Black Lives Matter movement, were found offensive by many. Their discovery led to a public outcry for her immediate dismissal. In the days that followed, the majority of her co-stars condemned the posts, and Bravo's Andy Cohen called them "very upsetting" and "disgusting" on his radio show.
During the aftermath, Jennie was seen filming for RHOSLC season 3, which prompted anger from fans who demanded an explanation. Andy indicated that discussions were underway at the network and that the situation would be addressed very soon. Bravo then announced (via its official Instagram account) that they had "ceased filming with Jennie Nguyen and she will no longer be a cast member."
