Warning! Spoilers ahead for Robin #11
The latest issue of Robin is teasing a major twist that fans have long been hoping for from DC's Batman comics. After fighting in the Lazarus Tournament against several killers and assassins with a plethora of supernatural resurrections, Robin is finally ready to return home to Gotham City. However, there's apparently something he must do before he reunites with Batman, teasing the return of the Bat-Family's greatest family member.
In previous issues of Robin, Damian Wayne left his father Batman behind after a major falling out between the two of them (as well as with the Teen Titans). Having become darker and more violent following the murder of Alfred Pennyworth he was unable to prevent, Damian entered the Lazarus Tournament to discover the depths of his own darkness and to see if he was strong enough to overcome it. Damian fought several opponents including Ravager, Respawn, Flatline, and more such as Green Arrow's secret son Connor Hawke, in a series of battles to the death with a set number of resurrections allowed for each fighter via the Lazarus Pits. However, Robin and his fellow combatants end up uniting together against the League of Lazarus in Robin #11 from Josua Williamson and Gleb Melnikov, seeing as how the League has attempted to unleash a demon upon the world to cause a global cleansing fire. Robin and his new antihero allies also track down Master Dusk of the League of Shadows.
