Little was known of the War Within Darkmoon Deck trinkets during our initial preview in early alpha. We're revisiting these infamous trinkets now that we know their full effects and a bit more about how you'll obtain and use them next expansion.
Initially these trinkets had placeholder stats, but in the last few builds Darkmoon Decks have received full proc effects that should give a better idea of their relative power.
In a similar manner to past expansions, you'll need to collect each deck's associated set of eight cards, which can then be combined to make the deck.
In Dragonflight, players could acquire Darkmoon cards by crafting Bundle O' Cards: Dragon Isles via inscription or as world drops and fishing via Soggy Clump of Darkmoon Cards. As of the current War Within beta build, scribes will not have access to craftable Darkmoon cards. Acquisition appears to be limited to world drops and fishing only via Crusty Darkmoon Card.
Scribes who specialize 15 points into crafting each Darkmoon Sigil will increase their ability to find Darkmoon cards by 50% for a total of 200% if you specialize in all 4.
At 30 points in each Darkmoon Sigil specialization for scribblers, you'll learn the ability to transcribe other Khaz Algar Darkmoon cards into the specialized card type (ie. Transcribe: Vivacity). Combine this with the new Darkmoon Duffle profession bag crafted from tailoring and the transcription can yield additional Darkmoon cards.
Darkmoon sigils have received a complete overhaul in the War Within. In Dragonflight, sigils were used to alter the shuffling of your Darkmoon Deck trinkets. In the War Within, scribes with at least 1 point in a Darkmoon Sigil specialization will be able to convert that specialization's Darkmoon Deck into an embellishment that you can then craft onto other pieces of gear.
Crafting sigils requires and consumes the Darkmoon Deck in order to craft the
