A Resident Evil fan has graced the fan community with an adorable piece of retro-style art. This is far from the first time that someone has produced some unique art based upon the iconic franchise, with a recent example being the Resident Evil Village 2.5D fan recreation of an iconic Lady Dimitrescu scene.
Since the release of its first entry back in 1996, the Resident Evil series has amassed a huge number of dedicated fans. Much of this passion comes down to the game's wacky narrative and colorful cast of characters, which has only grown over the course of the franchise's multitudinous releases; introduced in the first title were major players such as the villanious Albert Wesker, heroic Chris Redfield, and maverick Jill Valentine. Chris and Jill were both player characters in this first release and went on to star in future games like Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 6. Despite their subsequent appearances, many gamers associate these characters with their original 1996 versions. While some players feel that modern Resident Evil characters are less charismatic, these first-generation protagonists have been the subject of plenty of tributes over the years.

Another charming creation has been added to this long list, courtesy of Reddit user dat1niceguy. The piece takes on the retro, pixelated art style of older video games and features Jill Valentine as the main subject. She appears to be surrounded by other pieces of Resident Evil iconography like the typwriters players use to save their game and the various statues found in the first game's zombie-infested mansion.
