Young Sheldon Season 5 Clip Connects Georgie’s Arc To Mary
A new Young Sheldon season 5 clip connects Georgie Cooper's (Montana Jordan) current predicament to Mary's (Zoe Perry) past. The Big Bang Theory spin-off is currently focused on tackling the eldest Cooper's situation after he got his girlfriend, Mandy (Emily Osment), pregnant. He tried to keep the secret for as long as possible, but in the new Young Sheldon episode, he ultimately confesses to his parents about it.
Following his decision to work full time, Georgie also started dating the much-older Mandy after meeting her at Meemaw's (Emily Osment) laundromat. Unfortunately, to convince her to see him, he lied about his real age — claiming that he's 21 when he's really just 17. Mandy broke things off when she found out about it, but it was revealed that she's now pregnant in Young Sheldon's 100th episode. Georgie first looked to his old boss, Dale (Craig T. Nelson), for some advice, but with no resolution in sight, he finally decides to bring in George (Lance Barber) and Mary to help with his situation.

The upcoming Young Sheldon episode, «A God-Fearin' Baptist and a Hot Trophy Husband,» will see the fallout from Georgie's confession. A new promotional clip for the episode shared on the show's official YouTube account reveals how Mandy's pregnancy forces Mary to revisit her own unplanned pregnancy experience. In the clip, she apologizes to Meemaw for putting her through the same agony that she's going through now. Watch the clip below:
