Young Sheldon Season 5 Clip: Mary Loses It Over Georgie’s Pregnancy News
Mary loses it upon learning that Georgie got Mandy pregnant in a new Young Sheldon season 5 clip. The eldest Cooper kid has a tough road ahead of him given his current circumstances. The Big Bang Theory prequel series threw audiences for a loop earlier in season 5 by revealing that Georgie (Montana Jordan) has knocked up his older girlfriend Mandy (Emily Osment). Since then, Young Sheldon has been gradually unraveling what's next for Georgie after this surprising twist.
After learning about Mandy's condition, Georgie first seeks out Dale (Craig T. Nelson) for advice. After the conversation with his old boss/mentor, Georgie runs into his dad George (Lance Barber), who's already suspecting that something is going on with his kid. Georgie contemplates coming clean about what's really happening, but his nerves get the best of him. Despite that, Georgie has always known that it was only a matter of time before he's forced to confess the matter. So at the end of Young Sheldon season 5, episode 18, «Babies, Lies and a Resplendent Cannoli,» he finally tells his dad what happened. Before Young Sheldon could reveal the Cooper patriarch's reaction, however, the outing ended.

Instead of forcing viewers to wait until the next Young Sheldon episode to find out what happens, CBS (via Young Sheldon on YouTube) releases a new clip for this week's episode, titled «A God-Fearin' Baptist And A Hot Trophy Husband.» The video reveals Mary's (Zoe Perry) reaction to learning about the specifics of Georgie's situation, including the fact that Mandy is 29 years old. She starts to panic and even haphazardly suggests that Georgie marries her. Watch the snippet below:
