Resident Evil Village is still currently set to receive DLC at some point this year. No more details have been shared since, and it is anyone's guess what this DLC may entail. Some fans speculate that Resident Evil Village's DLC may follow Chris Redfield to the BSAA headquarters, as was teased in Resident Evil Village's final cutscene before players hit credits.

Official Resident Evil Account Tweet Gets Fans Speculating About Village DLC
Twitter user AestheticGamer has shared what fans would believe to be insider knowledge about Moreau's reservoir area in Resident Evil Village. AestheticGamer makes some fairly substantial and specific claims about Moreau's area and a lot of content that was cut from itin order to focus on Castle Dimitrescu and Heisenberg's Factory. Content cut allegedly included a swamp section «laid out similarly to End of Zoe's swamp stuff,» «Mermaid-like enemies,» and a «stalker enemy» that apparently resembled a Tyrant.
These mermaid creatures supposedly had a «screech attack which stunned you and slowed you down for a time» and players would have had to seek patches of land to evade them in the water. The Tyrant-like stalker enemy is described as having a «giant acid sack» around his neck and shoulders, could «spew acid,» or «use a clawed hand» to attack the player. Further, the mermaids' screeches would alert this stalker enemy.
