There is no shortage of Resident Evil fans hungry for something new to enjoy. The video game franchise has thrived over the years and most recently found a new market with remakes. With the likes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 being hits for fans, it was only recently that fans could continue with this trend. Capcom released Resident Evil 4, the remake, in March of this year. Fans were able to enjoy the campaign following Leon through another thrilling fight against a bioterrorism organization. However, the game didn’t release entirely, as fans have been waiting on the secondary campaign to emerge.
If you don’t recall, Resident Evil 4 had another campaign fans could go through called Separate Ways. This DLC would allow players to go through the campaign but as Ada Wong. So while we see Ada throughout the campaign as our time playing Leon, this Separate Ways campaign showcases some of the adventures Ada was going through when not directly saving Leon from utter disaster. But this Ada Wong campaign was missing from the game, and fans expect that this DLC is coming out and perhaps even expanded on from the original release.
Now a new clue might indicate an announcement is coming sooner rather than later. This comes from the folks over at PCGamesN, who found some updates were made in the backend of Resident Evil 4 on Steam. That doesn’t reveal what exactly was adjusted, but the speculation that is going around online right now is that this might be the big DLC release. Capcom has been pretty secretive regarding the Ada Wong storyline for Resident Evil 4, so we might get a surprise announcement soon.
Of course, this could not have anything to do with the Separate Ways campaign. Really, all we can do is wait and see
