Regitube isn’t an official Pokémon, but it’s already risen to S tier in the ranking of my favorite Pokémon.
The fan-made ’mon has made a splash on social media sites in the past few weeks. The design concept basically imagines one of the legendary giants — like Regirock or Regice — as a creature built from inner tubes. The monstrosity strikes the right balance between a concept that’s utterly goofy and one that’s a plausible Pokémon design. It’s brilliant and has already inspired loads of fan art and videos on social media.
The idea originated with a viral video depicting real-life shenanigans. In it, a person at a water park grabs a bunch of inner tubes and basically stacks as many as possible around their legs, torso, and arms. After stacking a dozen or so inner tubes around them, they walk around like some sort of blighted water park mascot. Well, one smart person had the idea to put a Pokémon battle theme behind it, which led more to reimagine the bit as an actual Pokémon.

This mythical creature is just a search on X away. There, fans have shared fan art and videos depicting the creation. Some have shared videos that show the creature mocked up in-game. Others have shared pixel art of it and other art styled to look like the watercolor art of Ken Sugimori. It’s basically become its own meme within the Pokémon fandom, and you can browse all the incredible posts below.
