Sony have revealed the next set of games coming to their premium subscription services, PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium. Nine new games added to PS Plus Extra service on November 21st 2023, with the exception of Teardown which is out now.
There’s a few titles in there that you may not recognise such as the fabulously named Alternate Jake Hunter: Daedalus The Awakening of Golden Jazz. You can probably guess it’s a Japanese game from the title but it’s described as follows:
“This NYC-set crime thriller visual novel blends detective work such as interrogations and clue-finding along with unique storytelling elements to deliver a thrilling murder mystery, as Saburo Jinguji heads to the United States to uncover the truth behind the death of his grandfather.”
We took a look at Superliminal, a a first-person puzzle game based on perspective and optical illusions, with our review and rather liked it, scoring it 8/10. “As confusing as it is entertaining, Superliminal constantly uses unique mechanics that go against your expectations, even once you’ve adjusted to what it did last time. It might be short, but it’s a genuine delight,” said Gareth.
Those with PS Plus Premium will also be getting five ‘classic’ titles, PS1 and PSP games that have been ported over to run on modern consoles:
Yes that is Up, the game based on the Pixar movie and originally released on PSP. Who wanted to play that then?
