Cinderace is a very popular choice in Pokemon Unite. You’ll see it in plenty of games, and it’s usually a battle of who can lock him in quickest when it comes to the select screen. There’s a reason for this — Cinderace will obliterate teams if given half a chance, it really is that strong.

With great power comes great fragility, however, and you’ll need to keep on the move to be effective. While Cinderace has great mobility, it’s very weak at the start of the match. You’ll need to invest time into farming up neutral Pokemon, which could give the enemy team an opportunity to get ahead.
If you manage to get hold of one of the prized carry roles, then choosing Cinderace is often a no-brainer. You’ll have great range, speed, and mobility, which gets even better if you drop below half health. If you want a high risk, high reward Pokemon, this is the one.
There’s few Pokemon that counter it fully, but you’ll need to watch out for mobile junglers like Gengar, Lucario and Zeraora. For most of the roster though, you’ll rip right through them. Thanks to this mobility you’re not necessarily relying on a tank lane partner either — going all-in with another Attacker or All-Rounder is often a good plan.
This setup is all about getting the most out of your damage potential, bursting enemies down before they have a chance to react or lock you down. Dive in, unleash your moves, and get out again without taking too much punishment.
