As the week of Pokemon Day celebrations carries on with Nintendo celebrating one of its biggest franchises, the Pokemon series has already seen a plethora of announcements for many of its ongoing games since the festivities began on Monday. Pokemon Masters EX has already seen a new version of May added to the game while other games like Pokemon Sword and Shield and Pokemon Cafe Mix have featured smaller events with rate boosts for fan-favorite Pokemon. Now, Pokemon Unite's time in the spotlight has arrived as the Pokemon MOBA officially revealed the next addition to its roster.
Since the game's launch in July 2021, Pokemon Unite has seen consistent additions to the roster each month with developer TiMi Studios frequently introducing new Pokemon and new ways to experience the MOBA. 2022 has already seen Unite add two popular Generation 6 Pokemon to the roster with Trevenant joining the game in January and Aegislash releasing earlier this month. Now, as part of The Pokemon Company's ongoing anniversary celebration, Pokemon Unite officially announced the Mythical Pokemon Hoopa as the next creature to join the fight.

A trailer released Thursday morning on the official Pokemon Unite YouTube channel details the game's newest addition, showing off Hoopa's moveset. Hoopa's abilities focus around teleporting itself and its allies around the map with its Hyperspace Hole ability allowing Hoopa and its allies to teleport both back to base and between the game's goal points.
