A new Illustration Rare card from the expansion for has been revealed, showcasing what will most likely be an unmissable card for collectors and players alike. is the Western version of the Japan-exclusive set. While the Japanese set is being released on July 19, the adaptation,, should arrive in Western markets on September 13. Most of the Japanese cards are expected to arrive with the release of and one such card is a gorgeous Illustration Rare.
Officially revealed for the set and reported on by , the Mythical Generation 7 Pokémon Zeraora will receive a unique Illustration Rare card in addition to its standard print. The Electric-type’s card will be a standard Pokémon card and is not an ex card, meaning that its special print does not categorize it as a Special Illustration Rare. However, the new Illustration Rare card that is likely making its way into the expansion is outstanding.
A new Elite Trainer Box with plenty to enjoy inside will be available for the upcoming Stellar Crown expansion set of the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
The main point of focus in its favor is its aesthetic value. Simply speaking, the new Zeraora Illustration Rare card is beautiful. The artwork by Kazumasa Yasukuni features the Mythical Pokémon seemingly happy while energized by blue-colored lightning. In addition to that, there are streaks of light in the background, indicating that it is moving at incredible speed – which makes sense, considering how fast Zeraora is known to be. The illustration present in this card gives it increased value for collectors, even if it is not as rare as a Special Illustration Rare.
The artwork for the standard print is also gorgeous, though it does not encompass the entirety of the card and is limited to the regular frame.
