Along with their different roles, they also vary in tier and relevance in the game.
Some Dendro characters in can multitask, while others are more dedicated to a single function – neither is particularly better than the other, considering that a few multitaskers end up being underwhelming in all their functions, while those that are focused on a single activity are so great they are deemed overpowered. Knowing which Dendro characters are the best is the ideal way of incorporating the element into a team comp without sacrificing a slot.

Despite being a long-anticipated 5-star hero, Baizhu is the best example of a Dendro character who is capable of many things and is underwhelming in each of them. The pharmacist from Liyue, who was released with Version 3.6, is mainly a healer but can be used as a Dendro enabler on the field. He can also be a Dendro resonance character for the team’s main DPS, for instance.
With all these functions, Baizhu ends up delivering less than expected across all fields. There are significantly better healers in, that can be obtained with much less effort. It is best to set Baizhu aside and alter the team structure to have a more reliable healer and Dendro enabler, even if that is with two distinct characters instead of only one.
