Popular PC point-and-click 2D adventure game Midnight Girl is coming soon to Android. If you’ve played this one, you must be pretty excited to hear the news. Midnight Girl is now open for pre-registration and is tentatively set to release by the end of September this year.
Created by indie game studio from Denmark, Italic DK, this game first dropped for PC players in November 2023. On Android, it’ll be free to play. So, what’s so special about the game? Keep reading to find out.
In the game, you land in Paris in 1965. The protagonist, Monique, is a Parisian cat burglar with a dream of a better future. She dreams of hopping on a plane to Chile and reconnecting with her estranged father.
But before she can pack her bags, she needs to pull off a heist to get her hands on a precious diamond. The only trouble is, someone has got their eye on Monique, and the stakes are higher than she’d bargained for.
Midnight Girl is a simple 2D puzzle (inventory puzzles). You have pretty great conversations with characters and even get to try using a fireplace poker to open a gizmo. As you guide Monique through her heist, the challenges shift from easy to tough and back to easy, mirroring her growth from a novice thief to a seasoned pro.
You’ll be wandering through shadowy catacombs, serene monasteries and the bustling metro stations. Curious to see what the game looks like? Take a peek below!
Midnight Girl is like a love letter to everything cool about Sixties Paris, Belgian comics and classic heist films. The game’s charm is in its details. The graphics are like flipping through a beautifully illustrated graphic novel.
You can learn more about the game on its official website. And since pre-registration is now live, why don’t you check out Midnight Girl on the Google Play Store?
