While fans of the Pokemon franchise wait for the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, they have done much speculating about what these games might have to offer. These fans have even taken to creating interesting fan art based on the information available thus far. In the latest example of this, one creator showed off what the title screen of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet might look like on a Game Boy Color.
The ninth generation of Pokemon was first revealed in February of this year and will officially begin with the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in November 2022. At the moment, there is only a handful of Pokemon from this generation officially confirmed from these games, including the region’s starters and a pair of Legendary Pokemon.

This nostalgic creation comes from the mind of u/HiraWhitedragon, and it is a perfect throwback for those Game Boy Color fans. This creation features a blacked-out version of what looks to be Koraidon, the Legendary Pokemon associated with Pokemon Scarlet. In this 8-bit fan art, the Pokemon's shape moves across a desert-like area while the entire scene is underneath the title of the game. For those players of the early Pokemon games, especially those who played on a Game Boy Color, this should be immediately recognizable. Much like Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal, this creation features the game’s most recognizable legendary as it moves with the flow of the screen.
